Enrichment grants
NPSN values those who want to improve the field of suicide prevention through scholarly research. Apply for an enrichment grant to support your efforts.

Application process
Email info@nationalsuicidepreventionnetwork.org your CV, a high-level overview of your suicide research interest (200-word limit), academic institution and research advisor (must be a PhD/ MD/ PsyD specializing in suicide and currently conducting IRB-approved research).
The number of awards and award amounts are contingent upon the number of applicants and current funding pool. Applications are evaluated as they are received.
This selection and award process is currently being tested. During this pilot phase (Phase 1), the first four eligible applicants will receive $250. Phase 1 applicants would be eligible to reapply for additional funding in Phase 2.
Phase 2: Projected awards amounts range from $100-$3,000. Selection process to be posted when finalized. Timeline: TBD

Eligibility requirements
Phase 1 applicants. Your application will be evaluated on very basic parameters:
1) You are conducting suicide research at an academic institution.*
2) You have provided the necessary documentation; CV, high-level research interest overview.
3) You detailed your academic institution and research advisor (must be a PhD/ MD/ PsyD specializing in suicide and currently conducting IRB-approved research).
*If you are awarded this grant, your research advisor will need to confirm via email that they are mentoring you before your check is mailed. If you are applying as an early, mid, or late career PhD, PsyD, MD, please provide a copy of your diploma via email.
